I would like to share how i increased my Alexa rank from 3,955,577 to 2,528,342. My Rank raised over 1,427,335 in last one week !! Wow thats great for a blog !! There are lots of way to increase your alexa traffic on your site !
1] Drive more readers To your Blog :
Dont concentrate on traffic , rather concentrate on good content ! This will automatically get more traffic to your blog !
2] Register your Blog in Search engines :
This can be done by registering your blog in search engines like Google , yahoo and windows Live !!

For MS-Live : http://search.msn.com.sg/docs/submit.aspx
3] Optimize your blog for Search engines :
The Search engine crawlers has to identify you when some one raise the query related to your post ! You can optimize your blog to get higher rank in search page !! Add the Following in between your < Head > Insert the below code here < / Head > tag of your Blog !!

To improve the Alexa Rank , i tried a lots of techniques , but none of them worked . Then i browsed lots of sites and finally installed this !!
You can see this at my site sidebar !! install this in your blog , and make your blog as your homepage . Whenever you refresh your page this tool retrieves your rank from alexa , hence Alexa consider that lots of users requesting your Rank , and there by increase your Rank accordingly !!

excellent tutorial. But I must correct you about Alexa toolbar.
Alexa toolbar is not a widget (as I see in your post), that is plugin for Firefox or IE, it display Alexa rank of every page you load in browser in the right bottom of status bar of browser

Ya i understand ! I actually mention the site Info Widget , which i given as a picture !! I think you miss understood !!
I told to install both the widget and the Plugin for firefox !!

BEWARE Alexa toolbar users! While you surf the web and type searchwords, names and address (or yourself or others) in whitepage, google, etc, they are all archived and made available *TO PUBLIC* via archive.org. The Alexa hardly do any purge of private information in the URL when they tranfer the URL data to archive.org (and other third parties)! I just found out myself a while ago, but Alexa refuses to respond to my emails.
