Max Payne is another one of those game-turned-movie type of genres.
For those who love video games, they must have experienced both Max Payne 1 and 2 video games which came around 7-8 years ago. The game was spectacular and had all gamers go gaga over it. It set the standard for shooting games for a long time. But the most amazing thing about the video game was the real-life story line and amazing action sequences.
Now this fan base has been targeted and a movie has been made from the game and is set to launch next week.
I, as a Max Payne fan, certainly do not want this movie to meet the same fate as the other video game turned movie type of games like the Doom, Hitman, etc.
But I was disappointed with one of the first reviews posted over at imdb site for this movie. But I am hoping that it will appeal to others more than that one person. Waiting to watch the movie but after seeing that review I am not expecting much either.
