Acer India has reduced the prices of its netbook, the Aspire One, by almost Rs.5,000 and now it is priced at around Ra.15,xxx before taxes.
The Aspire One netbook was one of the successful netbook models and although it is a limited period offer, its price reduction should force other market players to reduce their corresponding netbook models.
The main disadvantages of this model will be the lack of bluetooth, only a 3 cell battery and a below average camera.
Some speculate that this price reduction may be due to the next version of unannounced netbook version which should solve the current disadvantages by including a 6 cell battery and a few other enhancements.
