I just came across a new and unique social networking site called Acobay and I have just joined it after being recommended by some of my friends. There may be already a lot of social networking sites floating around but what impressed me with this specific site is the nice and clean look of the site and the ability to focus on just some of the interested topics rather than having a vague distinction between the topics.
I have just added some of the stuffs like my mobile phone (Nokia 6233), my car (Suzuki Swift) and the favorite movies that I am interested in. I got to meet a lot of other people who share the same interests as mine such as the Acer Aspire One netbook. After adding my stuffs, I get to be connected with other people who have similar interests as mine and get to know about their views on the product. Right now I have about 69 people in my network. This isn’t the end of the feature list as there are lots more and the site being in beta stage now, a lot of other improvements can be expected.
As of now, the only negative thing about this site is that there are not that many users and hence in some of the stuffs that I added I was the only person interested in it. But with the several other positives, I am sure that a lot more users will start to use the site thereby making the experience a lot better.
