After almost all IT firms have announced job layoffs and cuts, now it is the turn of the software giant Microsoft to announce its own round of job cuts as a cost cutting measure. It seems even the big daddy of software industry is not isolated from the impending economic depression.
It is expected that around 10% of its employees will be laid off and resulting in about 10,000-15,000 employees from being expelled from the organization.
Things are all gloomy in the IT industry with several thousand employees being fire each month and reports are that most people are wondering whether they will be among those to be laid off very soon.
It should also be noted that several thousand students who were selected by IT firms are still being made to wait to join with no confirmation on their status.
