Recently not many tamil films have done well in the box office. Most of them have bombed in the theaters and only a few have racked in decent numbers.
The trend seems to be changing from hero oriented films to good low budget films with good content. Recent film happenings have justified these facts.
The things is that many hero oriented roles have not been doing well and those with the same old masala concept have actually bombed in the market.
This should force good movies, no matter if it is of low budget or not so great hero, come up in the box office and satisfy those people who are looking for something more in a film.
