Adobe has officially announced its popular flash player which is used to display videos in web pages is around the corner for mobile phones running operating systems like Symbian, Android, Windows mobile and possibly Blackberry.

The latest version of flash player for typical PCs is 10 and the same one only with a smaller, leaner and faster version will be made available for mobile phones in the recent future.

Mobiles so far use a far inferior version of Flash known as Flash Lite 3.0 in their web browsers. With newer and better mobile internet browsers, better connectivity options and now this complete flash support, mobiles are becoming better and better in web browsing with only the small screen size to be a major constraint.

The requirements for the mobile to support Flash is that it should have atleast an 200 MHz processor with 16 MB of RAM and a proper web browser supporting the required standards. Most of the newer mobiles satisfies these requirements.
