T-Mobile G1 - Google Android Smartphone gets reviewed

One of the first reviews of the widely expected smartphone with Google Android OS has been reviewed over the web. Its the phone made by HTC for a specific carrier T-Mobile.

The tremendous hype surrounding this device has been due to the fact that this is the first mobile to launch with the much popular Android OS created by Google.

While the software part has quite gotten a decent experience, the hardware does not live upto the expectations. The OS gets positive feedback from the reviewers but they too feel that it is still not complete.

The most disappointing things about the device is the lackluster hardware. There were several complaints of terrible battery life, inconsistent signal reception and quite some niggling issues. But the most bad thing is the design itself. The mobile just feels and looks like a cheap and low quality handset which it is not. This may be the one thing that puts off several youngsters who usually try out the latest and greatest of the mobile phones.

The phone which came as the one sporting an awesome OS has received a thumbs down from the various reviews due to its crappy hardware.
