This handset has been nokia's important step towards conquerence of touch screen enabled phones in the market.With the market already flooded with various touch enabled ones that command a premium over the other ones,nokia's strategy has been to undercut all of them by offering a exceptional hardware and software package at around $400 or so.This should lead a lot of manufacturers to rethink their pricing strategy as almost all the touch-screen phones has been priced well above their counter-parts.
In the hardware capabilities,aside from the large 3.2 inches screen(VGA resolution) with touch support,the handset also sports a 3.2 megapixel camera with dual LED flash,GPS and A-GPS,HSDPA,accelerometer,8 GB microSD,etc which are definitely the best ones that anyone could get in a mobile phone.
The software is powered by symbian s60 5th edition.It also come with Nokia maps,nGage,Comes with music service.
Initial reviews and impressions from various sites have been very good.The handset launch is set to be in the year end.
