Reduction in noise levels this diwali

Studies have revealed that during the recent Diwali festival, the noise levels have come down from the previous levels but at the same time, the air pollution levels have gone higher.

Experts say that this is due to the people preferring crackers that light up instead of those that make loud noises. This has resulted in the decline in the sales of atom bomb and such crackers whose sole purpose is to produce loud bang noises.

But because of the increase of crackers that light up the atmosphere, the pollution levels have increased considerably because of the smoke emitted from them. As a result many people have reported breathing problems and respiratory difficulties due to the pollution caused by these crackers.

While the reduction in the noise levels is a welcome change, the increase in air pollution is a major concern and people are yet to understand the importance of reducing the pollution levels in all aspects.
