Pathetic customer care of Reliance big TV

You may be aware of Reliance having entering the DTH (Direct to Home) television market with their Big TV service. While I was not a big fan of Reliance products due to their crappy customer care, I was hoping that they change their service quality very soon. But it turns out that though their products are decent and cheap, their customer care totally sucks.

Recently one of friends had bought a Big TV and was hoping really big about it. He first tried to call them for the installation but the phone dint even ring. After registering in website they were not prompt in their service. Finally after much frustration, a guy had come for installation. After about 45 mins he left saying that connection will be activated within 1 hour. And again he tried customer care and had the same set of problems with disconnections. Later he himself tried to set dish in proper orientation and angle and it worked.

And I have heard of many such horrible customer care services by Reliance from various friends. They include telecom sector, broadband, etc. I would only buy another product from them after they take care of these issues no matter how good price or features they provide.
