Air purifiers and mold

While I was looking to buy an air purifier, I wanted to see the reviews of the various ones available in the market and the various things that I have to consider before making a decision. I had the doubt about whether these purifiers would clean up the mold in the air. Then I came across this website called aircleanersguide.com that explains all about air purifiers and mold.

Mold can cause allergic reactions like sneezing, itching, skin problems or even asthma. This is caused by the spores which are sent out by the molds and they get lodged in the lungs and nose causing all these problems.

The site recommends buying an air cleaner with HEPA filter as they may be more effective against spores. These filters can remove the spores from the air but I cannot remove the mold which has to be professionally removed. The ones with a carbon filter are also a good choice to get rid of the bad smell which comes with mold. So now I have got an overall good idea about how these air purifiers work with respect to mold.
