As I had previously written about my purchase of earphones, this is about my purchase of a pen drive. I was eager to purchase a Corsair 4 GB flash voyager drive as I have heard about the durability of the device. It was able to survive boiled water, frozen water, several drops and being run over by an SUV.
The drive was available for about Rs.480 after including the shipping charges. By using the 20 % ebay gift voucher, I was able to get the drive for Rs.390 which is really a great price for the drive and this includes shipping charges as well. It took about 3 days for the drive to arrive at my home.
I love the exterior rubber layer of the drive as it enhances the grip and has a good feeling to it. I havent tested the rough conditions that it can survive, but with my kind of usage, I expect it to undergo those treatments very soon.
The performance is better than the cheap drives that are available in the market. But it wasnt blazing fast as the voyager GT or some of the more expensive ones.
