I have lived with my 17" Samsung CRT monitor for the past 5 years or so and finally I am looking to upgrade to a new one within this month.
The monitor features that i am eying to buy are that it should be greater than or atleast equal to 22". The more the resolution, the better. Ideally I would like full HD resolution of 1980 x 1080.
Since I will be using the monitor mostly for movies, browsing, gaming, etc. I will need one with a faster refresh rate like somewhere around 5 ms or below it.
The looks of the monitor will also play a major role as well. The other options such as Webcam, USB port, headphone/mic jack will be handy but wont influence the decidion that much.
The input options must be plenty. Now i am using old VGA input. looking for DVI, HDMI and if possible display port as well.
The panels which mostly come in this range will be TN but I guess IPS panels will be better.
