Recently, I downloaded Daemon Tools from the internet. Before, to open an iso file I used PowerISO software. As I had installed Daemon Tools I decided to remove Power Iso file from my system. As I was unistalling PowerIso I got an error message stating some problem. I clicked the Ignore button and the dialog box stating unistallation successful was displayed.
Later I bought a Game cd that had the file contents as image content. When I tried to mount the image on Daemon Tools it stated that file format cannot be recognized. But Daemon Tools support that format. When I searched the net I found the problem might be due to registry errors. When registry errors are present, then the softwares cannot playthe known file extensions and file formats known to it.
Another incident is that I tried to uninstall Cricket game but as I cant do so because it displayed some error, I deleted the file. Later when I tried to install the same game, it results an error message. This is also due to registry errors. So the majority of problem with file format and file extension are due to the registry.
As I searched the net, for fixing the registry, I found the site http://www.computerfileextensions.com/. The software helped in fixing the registry errors. Now I can use Daemon Tools to load image and also can install that Cricket game.
