Fish prices sour upwards due to demand

By Praveen Edburg | Monday, December 01, 2008

The prices of fishes have started to grow upwards over the past few days and it has quite peaked today. All this may be due to the fact that the fishermen did not go to the seas in the past week due to the bad weather and rains. This has caused less supply and to meet the demands, the prices have been increased.

The rains which came last week lasted for about 4 days and it must have had a huge short supply of fishes as there was no fishing for those days. Meanwhile the demand for fishes has been the same.

As the weather has come back to normal, the prices are expected to fall down and stabilize as the fishing will continue as usual.
