Last week my system got infected with virus. I used to be online 24X7. Periodically my system notified me an error message stating that my system got infected with a virus and needed to be removed. If I clicked Yes or No in the error dialog box, the box redirected me to a website containing an antivirus software product. The message further stated that this antivirus cleaner have the efficiency to clean the virus. As I am having an antivirus I didn’t believed this message.
I cant remove this error box and the message occurred once in every 10 minutes. This message frustrated me a lot. Later when I was searching how to remove this problem, I found some malicious programmers use this type of technique to advertise their products. They alter the registry of the OS to notify the message periodically. Since I am not a computer expert to solve this problem by rectifying the registry, I used the help of the site registrycleanersinfo.com that provides reviews and information about registry cleaner. The site provided a complete guide about the registry concepts and what are the problems that might occur and how registry cleaners rectify the problem. I downloaded a product based on the review from this site. I scanned my system using the downloaded software and it showed some errors are present in the registry. I clicked the Fix it button and every problems were cleared. Now my system is working without any problem.
